Born and Raised in Dawson Creek, in my youth I trained competitively as a figure skater alongside dance, swimming and softball. With such an active lifestyle, injuries are inevitable and I found myself eager to learn from the physiotherapists I encountered.
I graduated from the University of Manchester with a BSc (hons) PT 16 years ago and have been fortunate enough to travel the world with my career and work with some of the best in our field as well as elite athletes and sports teams. I continued my education by becoming a certified personal trainer, acupuncture certifications and STOTT pilates instructor.
As a clinic we have furthered our training in assessment and diagnosis with Neurokinetic therapy, SFMA, FMS and more. My passion is looking at the body as a whole, getting to know my patients and truly finding the driver of what is causing the pain and injury. As owner and physiotherapist, the goals behind the creation of the clinic was to offer ongoing injury prevention, health and wellness.
If your appointment is booked with me you will be sure to receive a thorough assessment and diagnosis and treatment plan that is developed together. I use hands on techniques, functional dry needling and work alongside my knowledgeable team members to help assist in your recovery.
My areas of expertise are Musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, orthopaedics, post surgical, women’s health ( pre/post natal and incontinence), acupuncture, pelvic girdle/spine and clinical pilates.
Call to book an appointment! My goal is to help you achieve a pain free, agile, functional body and be successful in life! its more than physiotherapy … We Go Deeper.

I grew up in Dawson Creek and was involved in sport from a young age. I was exposed to physio early on and always had a keen interest in the human body, kinesiology, nutrition and the energy systems. I have been practicing physio for 8 years and have grown as a practitioner over the years at DEEP. I dove into a multitude of courses, expanding my knowledge of human movement and the energy system. I subscribe to the idea that everything is interconnected. It’s not a one size fits all kind of world and I look to find the hidden culprits of what’s causing long term chronic pain and illness. I fell into the practice of Acutonics 3 years ago and have been loving the program. It has allowed me to incorporate Chinese medicine into my practice with the use of tuning forks versus needles. Sound and music is an important part of my life and I love that I can incorporate it into my sessions. I aspire to teach people how to live a more balanced life in all areas: from the physical to balancing their mental, emotional and energetic systems. Mindfulness and awareness of our behaviors, habits and subconscious reactions can help to create optimal health and movement. I love my time off spent with friends and family, camping, rock climbing, reading, cooking and anything music.

I was raised with meditation from the time I was a very young girl as this was a regular practice in our family being raised as the daughter of a Minister.
As a very active young teenager I was introduced to the fitness and wellness industry on Vancouver Island which then became a major passion of mine, I ended up working at the most wonderful nurturing fitness and wellness center for women as a volunteer first until I was old enough to be an actual employee.
I was blessed to have some wonderful teachers and mentors who introduced me to the beauty of yoga/weight training/cardio which helped compliment and keep me in good health and alignment while I trained to compete as a young girl breaking into the boxing world. Yoga also helped me keep agile for the rugby pitch. I found that yoga helped me stay in connection with and balance not only my physical body but also my Mind body, my Spiritual body, and my Emotional body not to mention it helped speed up the healing time from the injuries I would have from playing rugby or just being a rowdy active teen.
In the summer of 2015 I took my 200 hour yoga teachers training and became certified to teach Hatha, Yin Yoga, Ashtanga, Pre-natal, and Restorative through BLYS School of Yoga which is a Yoga Alliance recognized school. I decided to take my teacher’s training so that I could teach myself and not be restricted to class times. Then in February 2016 I took another 50hr intensive course for Yin Yoga so that I could once again deepen my own personal practice and understanding of Yin Yoga, once again I fell in love with the beauty of Yin and meditation. Life to me is all about learning and growing, and the more I learn the more I want to share the tools that are being passed to me.
Knowledge is only knowledge when shared.
There is such a need for self care and self love in society and if we can simply take a moment even once a day to give back to self so that we can cultivate balance in our own lives then we can be free to give to others from a healthy balanced place. Compassion and love comes from within
“Nurturance to I is nurturance to all, Nurturance to all is the Nurturance to I.”
It’s not about intensity, it’s about time
Come to a sensation, breathe in stillness, hold for time
We are all mirrors of each other
We are all OM
